DVD-A - normal wav audio

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum, so if this is the wrong place, I appologize.

I just picked up an 04 TL (6mt/navi) and was curious about the DVD-A system. No, not about DVD-A's in general, but if i could wav files to a DVD as if it were a CD (say in nero/roxio/etc)? or does this format require some weird compression/expected file formats?

I would still like to get a LOT of songs onto a single disk, since this player can't play mp3 CD's...I thought another solution might be to burn straight wav/audio files to a DVD...lots more space

Any thoughts? anyone tried this? I suppose I could convert them to ac3 files and burn it that way if the plain old raw audio files don't work. I'll have to try tonight
