Dvd I-ves
Hey everyone,
I was thinking of installing a DVD I-VES system in the rear seat. I was wondering if anyone had one in their TSX, and if so, what their experience was? (any pics would be great)
Any comments on my DVD I-VES or any advice would be great!

I have the I-VES (see the pics of the screen here - https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=I-VES).
The Good:
The DVD unit goes in the dash (aftermarket ones go under seat or glove)
Since it's a Honda part it intergrates nicely
Plays VCD's (you can copy DVD's to a blank CDR and it looks good)
Plays MP3's (Nav screen displays song info in a GUI
Comes with remote and 2 wireless headphones.
Adds two rear interior lights
Warrantied by Acura
The Bad:
FM Modulated (sound is fine for DVD's, but not so good for MP3's)
Hard to install (I had the dealer do it and they said it was very tough)
Does not play copied DVD's
Expensive compared to aftermarket units

thanks for the reply wsklar.
Do you know if there's a way of not using a FM-modulator? I also heard that the sound quality coming from a FM-modulator isnt that good, so im trying to stay away from that!
