Does this setup look good?

Im not an audiophile at at all and I dont know much about audio setups but I was just browsing craigslist looking for some good deals on the subs. I want to get something for my 01 TL. Is that amp adequate enough for the two subs?

if the amp can be ran at 1ohm it will be more than enough. if not, the amp can only be ran at 4ohm, putting out ~300wrms, which will do no justice for them. this is assuming the subs are 4ohm versions...

Personally I will never go with rockford fosgate again... I had two brand new speakers and they sounded horrible and after about 3 weeks of use when that Akon and Young Jeezy song Soul Soulvivor came out it has that really really low bass and it blew the hell out of them. Ugh, never again.

You would need one of those amps on each sub and run it at 2 ohms to maxmize the setup.

Pass.

RF makes great amps actually (old school especially). they're known to be very efficient. if you blow your speakers from one odds are its user error, probably having to do with the gain. clipping your sub is worse than you think... RF subs are ok (with exception of the P series). the T's get loud as bejeezus, but aren't too sq orientated.

also, you pretty much need a $200+ area sub to hear the lows on songs such as soul survivor. and if your using a prefab box, just quit car audio... lol
