Does anyone know what this is??

Over the last few months we have noticed our car stereos are picking up odd signals around town. It's a beeping noise that sounds a little like morse code, like some electrical equipment is interfering. It happens if the units are on or off, whether radio or CD, and in both cars - Infiniti (Bose) and Dodge Ram (Infinity). It quite often happens near our community gate, even if it hasn't opened yet, and sometimes we hear it on the freeway.

Any ideas? It's not a problem, we're just curious.

It's your phone

HAHAHA Cell Phone! If you are have either a GSM (T-Mobile, ATT GSM, ect.) or Nextel phone they constatly update when driving. They are relocating tower positions. That is all it is I think. It can be frickin annoying and usually I store my phone in the door storage. I doesn't seem to do it there. If you wanna test what it is put your sell phone right in front of the headunit or anywhere within a few inches. Then give it a call. That should prove my theory.
