Do I need the Y-Cable for a USA-SPEC PA11-HON2 on a '05 No-Nav?

I have an '05 TSX with XM but no Nav. I am going to install a USA-SPEC PA11-HON2 iPod adapter and want to keep the XM. I know you need the Y-Cable adapter for cars with Nav, but do I still need the cable to retain use of XM if I don't have Nav?

Thanks!

The best way to find out would be to remove the storage compartment (apply pressure (from the inside) to the bottom and side and then pull). There is a socket in the back center of the stereo. If there is no cable connected, you will not need it. If there is a cable already plugged in, then you will need the y-adapter. You cannot see it straight on. You will have to feel for it or use a small mirror. Here is a picture of the connector (it's the white one):

Chances are though, if you wish to keep XM functionality, you will need the cable. If you don't subscribe to XM, you could just unplug the cable from the socket in the picture and connect the UsaSpec directly.

If you want to keep your XM, you need it.

I already have the USA-SPEC PA11-HON2 installed in my car but i too would like to keep xm. Where can you order this y cable and does it really work on non-navi radios?
