TSX: Dice only outputting to right speakers? AUX fix (pinout)

Dice only outputting to right speakers? AUX fix (pinout)

Has anyone else had any problems with their Dice AUX adapter???

I only use my dice for an Aux input (2004 TSX has no Aux input). One day my Dice started outputting sound only to the right speakers. This is how I inputted the sound to the head unit and only used the (defective) Dice for bus communication.


Looking toward plug going into the Dice unit

7 8 9 10 11 12

1) Orange (bus)
2) Red (bus)

5)Black (ground? measured 0v)
6)Black (ground? measured 0v)
7*)white (left audio out signal)
8*)Black (negative L & R audio out)
9*)Red (right audio out signal)

12)Yellow (power 12V)


I cut 7, 8, and 9 from the connector that goes into the dice unit.

I cut a 3.5mm headphone cord (1 shield and 2 insulated wires).

Usually the shield will not have insulation. Red is usually the Right input. White is usually the Left input.

Shield to black wire that was on pin 8
Red to Red wire that was on pin 9
and the other wire goes to pin 7


Easy fix... Maybe this will help somone out there
