Dension IceLink and 2004 TSX problem!

I was wondering if anyone else has been having problems with their Dension IceLink for a Non NAVI TSX. I have been having a conversation via email with dension support, but they are somewhat slow.

I installed the IceLink by just plugging it into the CD changer control below the factory system (had battery unplugged too). That was very easy. But when I try to cycle the CD/AUX control to AUX to control the IPod, well nothing happens. The Ipod does display the Dension logo as if it is communicating with the Ipod, but the factory system cannot be changed from the in-dash cd mode. None of the controls on the Ipod work when plugged into IceLink (which doesn;t suprise me since the same is true when it is plugged into my CPU). I have tried both my video Ipod and a friends Ipod mini, so there is no problem with the actual Ipod. I am also using the plug harness and not the cradle harness readily available at Best Buy. Anyone else have a similar problem? Any suggestions? I am hoping I won't have to return it to Dension as their support/service sounds like it is not upto par. Thanks!

I did have the latest firmware. I never heard back from Dension after leaving a phone message, so I took the thing and jiggled all the cables and now it works. Strange that it was partially connected before to the point where the Dension logo came up before. Anyway, it sounds great, but I have to make the obligatory comment on how bad the interface is. Slow and cumbersome. Sometimes I want something not on myplaylists and feel like Just let me use my click wheel!

i think the interface is somewhat slow, but its hard to complain as i love the icelink.

i usually just listen to everything on shuffle, my first playlist is all of my songs, and then 2-5 are special ones i have set up. so i usually just play a list on random and occasionally i will be listening to a song and then select AlbumPlay which is only about 3 menu clicks.
