Delphi SkyFi XM radio install

im installing the delphi skyfi unit in my moms 01 tl. i cant find a good place to put the damn thing. its just to big. anyone have any pics or ideas about where i can put this thing.

Get rid of the skyfi and get the roady. That is what I did and its a lot smaller with no docking station. The plugs plug into the unit not into a docking station like the skyfi..

i got the skyfi b/c we do alot of boating and on the water there are NO radio stations... i already have the stuff to put it in the car and the boat, along with the blitzsafe adapter for the car. i think we are gona stick it on the dash between the heat controls and the odometer reset buttons......

If I were to mount I would of done it there also. You can still see the channel and who is playing from the driver seat.

you can always try hitting up a cell phone store that will do cell phone installations on cars. chances are they will have a braket that you could use.

Take a piece of flat metal and bend it. That top part of the dash just pops right out. If you look above the gauges there are 2 screws. Once you remove those the rest of it pops out. Work it slowly starting from the driverside.
