Check around out there....we'd charge $375 for false floor and sub box built to spec of your sub

A false floor is simple to do. I'm sure any audio shop could do it...even Ultimate Electronics. If I were you I'd save up a couple bones and do something like this. It's a simple fiberglass box molded into the spare tire well. This didn't take too much time, and looks a lot better than a simple false floor:

this might sound completely retarded, but what happens when u guys blow out a tire, or get a flat tire that you can't fix on the side of the road?

I am interested in this configuration also. How much does it cost to install the following stuff in east San Francisco Bay Area (around Hayward/Fremont):

1) Amp wiring
2) custom false floor with amp and 1 or 2 12" Kicker subs

Let me know how much this will set me back. Thanks.

doing a false floor isn't hard. YOu'll save alot of money doing it yourself. It only cost me a little over $100 to build my box and false floor with carpet, glue, screws. Better then paying someone like 500 for it, but it will just look better.....I'm going to redo my trunk next week....hopefully it will look better then what i have now....

Problem is, I live in an apartment and don't have any tools or knowledge of wiring to build my own box and install wiring. My only option is to go to a professional installer. Do you know how I can install it myself?

So are there any good shops in the East Bay Area? I live in Union City and I saw a shop called Pacific Car Stereo near Stevenson Boulevard in Fremont. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I'd bet something like the pic the 4pumped posted would cost like $750.....That also takes a ton of time...making the skeleton, layering the fiberglass....bond....sanding.....painting

Yeah I also need some pics to show the installers how I want the false floor to look.

I'm planning to take the car in for measurements on Thursday so that they can work on building the floor on Friday. Pics would be very helpful to ensure that I will get what I want. Thanks.
