sooo i was recently brought to attention that the front lights in my 02 tl do not come on when my door opens. im pretty sure this is just stock? unless someone else can tell me otherwise. so i decided to try and rewire my front lights to attach to the ground from the center light. since that is the "on/off" for the door setting. when i did this i blew the stock fuse. like an idiot i put in a 25amp instead of a 7.5amp fuse into the socket and tried again and now when my center light is in the door position it just constantly stays on. i checked to see if the ground wire melted onto some point on the chassi but i lost it once it went down the A pillar. im wondering if i burnt out a relay or maybe some controller for the lights. i really dont know what to do at this point other than taking my whole dash appart and checking everything. which i dont really have time to do nowadays. please let me know if you know anything about this.
