Hey everyone, I have a couple questions I'd like some suggestions on, please.

I have a JL 500/1 and an Alipne Type R 10 in a ported box.

First of all, I am having a hard time getting the amp tuned right. I did the best I could by referring to the JL website, but I can't seem to get it just right. It sounds good for being only 1 10, the only problem is, it's not hitting high notes. I imagine it has something to to with one of the crossover settings or something, but if anyone has one that is set right with a similar setup, I'd appreciate your input. Could it be because I'm running only the 1 10? I always had the idea that 10's hit the higher notes better (I've always owned 12's).

Secondly, my trunk is a rattlebox! I've looked around on ebay and found a couple Dynamat knockoffs... anyone have suggestions on that? Will I be happier if I just spend the extra money to get Dynamat, or is there something better? Also, Should I just cover the inside of my trunk lid with it (that seems to be the only thing rattling besides my license plate) or go further than that?

3rd, this is just an idea, not sure if I will even do it, but I was wondering about it anyways... I also have some older JL W0 10's collecting dust. Would you throw those in with the Alpine (separate boxes) because it would obviously add bass, but probably compromise SQ. If so, what would be the best way to wire 1 DVC sub, and 2 SVC subs? Just an idea, but probably won't put em in anways.
