Compatibile? Alpine NAVI, Pioneer DVD+SCREEN??
Hey i was wondering if it was possible to have a Alpine NAVI unit using the Pioneer Screen?
Actually, here is what i'd like to do, but being that i have no knowledge of car audio, i don't even know if it would work or make sense, but here it goes...
I want to keep the BOSE headunit, but replace the door speakers and rears with something with more clarity and can handle juice from an amp. I'd also like to get like a 10" or 12" sub with a seperate amp for that. Now, I want to take out that slot tray above the headunit and get the Pioneer 7000 monitor and modify it to fit in that slot. I then want to put an Alpine NAVI unit in the trunk, and then get a 6-disc or 10-disc DVD changer also in the trunk. Would this work at all?
Keep in mind this is a 2003 withOUT NAVI.
My main goal is changing out the stock speakers and adding NAVI/DVD without taking out the BOSE headunit. I kinda want the car to look stock.
Is this possible?
Anyone know?
