Exclamation Choosing The Best Navigation / DVD Unit

Hey All,

I am actually fairly new to this forum. I joined since I recently got my black/black CL-S 6 speed. However, my problem is this; I want to get a top of the line double din navigation system / dvd player, but I can't decide on which to get. I've read similar threads here and at many many many other sites and my choices seem to be the same. Eclipse 5435/5495, Pioneer D1, or my latest idea, Alpine 872A Nav w/ TME 770 Monitor. If I go the Alpine route, I'll need to buy a DVD player/changer and XM/Sirius box just to get basic radio and CD/DVD. However, I think the picture and Nav quality will be well worth it. I heard very good things about Eclipse but from what I can tell the graphics aren't as good as Alpine TME 770 or Pioneer and the price is pretty high. I particularly like the Nav features for Alpine 872A but I'm not sure how difficult it will be to piece together everything I need. I'm going for a stock, classy look, no single dins. If anyone has any ideas or experience with any of these products please feel free to let me know. I'll try to get some pics of my new car up ASAP.

Thanks,
Jon
