car stereo problem

Hello. When I try to put a cd into my system, I can't. When I press to CD, it read error and then went straight to the radio. I think there might be a cd jam or stuck inside or something is wrong. I don't know how to take the stereo system out to take a look, can someone show me? Also I have an iphone, what's the best way to connect my iphone to my stereo? Thank You.

give it a couple good solid hits on the passenger side wall and it might work. Always worked for me.

^^^ its looks kinda stupid when people see you banging under the dash all the time.

rip it out and get an aftermarket, the Bose head unit sucks. the best way to connect the ipod is using an aftermarket headunit with a usb port .

yea the main question i got is this. I just recently bought the Kenwood DNX5120 in dash gps/dvd/cd/mp3 and all those bells and whistles. ive also got the special double din mounts for an 03 TL as well as the trigger mod to override my E-brake. so with all that being said what do i do during the install to where that i dont lose my bose speakers primarily the built in sub and amp. and as far as taking the dash off for the question that "xunruli" asked. alls u gotta do is go to skosche.com and u can find the manuals for taking the dash off. but i serioulsy reccommend u goin to a pro installer, because if they break ur woodgrain trim or scratch shit up, they pay. if you do it, u have to pay. see where im gettin at.

I have the same problem. Try getting your index finger, and hold the cd door slot with a small amount of pressure, then press CD. Keep trying it over and over with different pressure points. Works for me

Use the search function...

Even without that, I think there are a few active posts on this same subject...
