Car damping on 1st gen CL??
I was wondering if any of you out there had any experience with applying dynamat or some dynamat alternative all over your 1st gen CL. Do you have any pictures of it? Any precautions to take?? ANy problems?? How do I take all my seats/doors/etc out safely so I can matt everything?
thanks

I'm getting ready to do the same to mine. I haven't dampened a CL yet, but usually the best way is to heat up the dynamat with a heat gun or hair dryer and use a roller (or something to press it down with) to apply. Clean the metal first with soap and water so the dynamat sticks. I would also suggest using the dynamat spray over the regular stuff on your doors and other areas you can't easily reach.

keep in mind, if you care, when you add dynamat or any sound deadening stuff, you are adding weight, and quite a bit, especially if you are doing the floor and all. I noticed 'streeteffectz' mentioned a good point before... its only really good for road noise reduction, so if rattling reducton is what your after your barking up the wrong tree.
