Can viper 791 make a car idle badly

My 2001 acura cl-s is idling funny, I remember the shop messing with my pager/autostart alarm and then almost immediately afterwards the car has been idling funny, almost for the last year. It only does it about 25% of the time, but I was just wondering if since it can control the ignition, if it could play a factor in my problem....I have checked some stuff, replaced some stuff and of course the dealership can never get the damn thing to do it again...any help is appreciated

please explain idle funny... is it too low, too high??? sporadic???

the only thing that your autostart should tie into are the starter lines and the tach if it uses it to sense the engine is running... but shouldn't be anything with idle...

It will shift very slightly, light sometimes and then bad sometimes....it will hold at 1k sometimes...and then it will idle correctly then drop then catch itself, as if I had a manual and I let the clutch engage and then pushed the clutch back in. It will cycle a couple times and then catch itself. I had the IAC changed at the dealership. Oh and no codes.

Plugs were changed at 90k I'm at 118k w/ NGK iridiums, I have a CAI and it was cleaned around 6k miles ago (I will be cleaning this again soon).

Nope, it starts after the car gets to normal temps, but it did start doing it once before the car reached normal driving temps. It sounds like IAC valve but I had it cleaned and then replaced. I have been searching and searching for the answer to this.

Is there any connection that could have not been soldered properly or not hooked up correctly. I remember it starting shortly after getting my viper alarm worked on. I vaguely remember him taking my engine cover off and wondering wtf...

No unless it was installed wrong.

If he took the engine cover off, it may have been to run a tach wire. (I am guessing)

I would check your injectors to make sure they are plugged in correctly, and I could check to make sure there isn't any broken wire's where he may have tapped in...

It's just a theory.
