Bought HK Drive + Play: Do I need Y Adaptor to Play XM and ipod?

I keep reading about Y adaptors with other kits. What do I need to be able to have the Drive + Play and keep the XM Radio working?

Also, how do I switch between the two? What I mean, is what do I do when I am listening to a CD and I want to listen to my ipod. Is there a switch or something?

Please explain, or send to a link where I can read. I tried the search and nothing specific came up.

Thanks in advance.

Can you tell us what car you have? That helps.

Sorry, I forgot that this forum doesn't have my car under my name. I have an 05 TL with Navi.

Thanks!

Well, you MIGHT be able to use the "y" harness and a Soundgate SNHOND3.

I have some of these gathering dust, I would happily send you a kit for review and test.

But if that did not work, what WOULD work is the USA SPEC PA-11 HON 2 Y in AUX mode.
