MDX: Bluetooth and Android
I have a 2008 MDX with Nav and a DROID X among other android phones.
I am looking to optimize use of my phone through the steering wheel controls.
I would like to be able to do the following:
- Over-ride the voice prompt button the steering wheel to map to my voice prompt key on my Android device (I believe this requires A2DP bluetooth) I am not sure if there is an after market device i can get to do this?
- Second priority is to be able to click 'next' by the channel up/down buttons on the steering wheel so that it changes songs while using my music player on my phone...
I am willing to find a way to install this if i can not do it myself, but any guidance in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Bump.
I'd also love to find a bluetooth receiver that would allow me to control the music via the Nav screen and the steering wheel. It'd also be nice to leave voice calls to the HFL and only music/A2DP over the other BT connection.

As far as I know aftermarket companies only support the Ipod/Iphone. With one of those, you could use a product similar to the this one: http://usaspec.com/product.php?Produ...eShowProduct=1 and get control over the device through your factory radio and steering wheel controls, plus charge the device. It does have an Aux input you could use to send music from your Droid phone, but you wouldn't have any control/charging capability.
