Looking to put XM in my 04 TSX. Is it possible to use the factory head unit as the actual receiver or do i have to buy one? If i have to buy one, what is the best all around option for me?

 

do u have nav or no nave? the best option in my opinion is to put an xm commander in and hook it up either with autotoys aux adapter or the shondo 3. ur head unit wont conrtol xm but at least it wont be fm moded and u can mount the unit real convenient.

 

Another option, if you want MP3 is to buy an XM/MP3 head unit and stick it in the pocket above the not an ashtray..and connect it with th aux adapter.
