best approach to adding xmradio

hey, i wanna add xm radio to my stock setup. i have it at home and love it. now i know i can get an fm modulator for it, and just use the delphi reciver i use at home but get the car kit. any issues there? then theresd the prefered way, getting a aftermarket stereo in thats xm ready and everything that comes with that. am i from there gonna need a new amp? any specific hookups to use exsisting amp? im not very knowladgable in car audio so this is all new to me, chances are ill be having a shop do the work but i wanna find out from you guys on specs so they dont try give me the runaround getting me to replace every thing. i must also add, i wanna do it inexpensive but right, i need to take care of my mortgage and car payment before i go dumping loads of money in parts and addins to make it faster or look better. but i spend most of my work day in the car so xmradio is a good buy for me. thanks in advance for any advice.

The car kit will be the most affordable, and it will also keep it down to one reciever payment. If you get another XM reciever, that's two payments you have to make. Install at a shop should be 100-150.... if that....
