Just a rookie question:

I want to hook a single 8-gauge line to by battery to power an amp.

I've seen the battery hookups that are sold but they look like they're just as big as the car connection (or are those for 2nd batteries?).

What's the best way to hook up my power line for my amp?

Are there devices that'll allow 2 connections on the battery post?

(I used to install car stereos, but that was about 25 years ago, and there was always enough juice at the fuses back then)
