Bad CD player?

I'm getting an ER 1 message when trying to use the CD player. Radio & tape work fine. Anybody know the cause and/or the cure?

What type of CD are you using? CD-R or store bought? You sure you aren't trying to play MP3 CDs? Just checking cause they won't work.

Our stock radios don't take kindly to burned cd's. Some cdr's work fine, others won't work @ all. You'll have a hard time getting them in and out. And never use a cd with a stamped label. You'll require tweezers to get those mofos out.

Nope, store bought commercially made CDs.
