Auxiliary jack for iPod - 2006 TSX
I am having a difficult time figuring out how to connect my iPod to the factory-installed, dedicated auxiliary jack in the center console of my 2006 TSX. The staff at the Apple store didn't know what kind of cable I needed. Acura suggested I go to Best Buy or Radio Shack, but I had no luck. Can anyone recommend the appropriate cable for this connection?

I think this would be the best adapter for the best sound because it uses the dock connector audio out. The only downfall would be that you can't use a car charger at the same time.
iPod Dock Connector to Stereo Jack
If you want to charge the ipod and still use the dock connector's audio out I would recommend this Belkin adapter with a 1/8" stereo jack cable from the Belkin to the Acura 1/8" auxilary input.
Belkin Auto Kit for iPod
The cheapest method to connect it to the Acura auxilary in would be just to use a 1/8" to 1/8" stereo jack cable. You could find this at any RadioShack. This will give you the worst sound (worst meaning out of these solutions) because you'll be getting the sound from the headphone jack.
Shielded Stereo Audio Cable
So now you have multiple choices. Now it's up to you to figure out the best solution for you.

FWIW, I took your advice above and bought the 2nd and 3rd items (Belkin Auto Kit and Radio Shack Cable) and this combination works great! The Belkin Auto Kit even has a built-in volume control that you can set to your liking, then use your TSX's volume control to tweak it.
Thanks for the tip.

Quick question about the Belkin..
Does one end go into the dock connector and the other splits into a charger and a audio jack. Or does it have one wire for power, and a separate wire for audio?
The website says it comes with the 3.5 mm jack to hook up with a belkin FM transmitter, which is my point of confusion.
