Aux. adapter for TSX for $70
I found PIE HON03/PC-SON for $70 at http://www.installer.com/aux/ about 1/3 page down. Logjamelectronics.com sells the same adapter for $100, it looks similar to SNHOND3 and Blitzsafe. If anyone has opinion re: quality or compatibility with Mp3 players I'd like to know. Otherwise looks like a good price.

I got the soundgate from logjam and it has worked ever since the day after I got my TSX (5 months ago). Make sure that you get a ground-loop isolator too...

HONDA, ACURA 03
Aux input for 14 pin Honda radio
03-04 Accord
03-04 Element
04 S-2000
Since the SNHOND3 is made for the 2003-04 accords. In theory it looks like it would work. Only thing is....I've never seen that adapter before though. If you're looking to save a little money, then check the black market section. I think I saw someone selling a SNHOND3 there...for a pretty good price. If you get one of those, then you won't have any doubt that it works with the TSX.
Good luck man!
Hey you live in Redding...that's not too far from where I live!

Let us know what you get and how it works.
I'm still on the lookout for AUX input for an '05 w/Navi and NOT losing XM. I have yet to see a post confirming anyone to get that working.

The solution in theory is pretty simple. The audio line of the AUX adapter has to disconnect from the bus when the Aux adapter is selected. Since they use a PIC microcontroller in the adapter, I am sure they can rig up one of the spare output lines to drive four relays to disconnect the adapter from the bus when it's not selected.
Hopefully they'll get the message and manufacture an adapter that does this.

Since Acura offers the add-on MP3 player or tape deck, is there anyone who manufactures an aux input that hooks up to the same connection?
Or, does the OEM tape deck/MP3 player use the input currently taken up by th XM radio?

The same bus connection is pretty much used for ALL of Honda's dealer installed audio accessories.
Aux adapter manufacturers usually use the CD Changer protocol and have the adapter emulate a CD changer. This way you can also use the adapter to connect an aftermarket changer to the stock HU.
It isn't simply about connecting wires either. You have to build a device that listens to and talks to the HU, so that it will know that the Aux adapter is there.
