Audio Newbie w/ Sample System

What's up everybody. Before you read my post, I just want to let you know I'm a complete newbie to the world of Car Audio. I have so many questions that I don't even want to ask them because most of you guys will probably get annoyed. I've been doing searches of this forum and have been getting a better idea of what the good brands are, and what different components do. I still have a long way to go but I'm learning.

The whole point of this post is that I made a sample budget system for my 97 Acura CL on etronics.com, and I wanted a couple of opinions and was wondering If I was making any mistakes in my choices. well here it is:

Pioneer DEH-P6400 CD Receiver w/Organic EL Display
Infinity KAPPA 63.5I 6 1/2" 3-Way Loudspeaker (PAIR)
Infinity KAPPA 692.5I 6" x 9" 2-Way Loudspeaker (PAIR)
Infinity BASSLINK Self-Amplified Subwoofer System

The total for all this is $644.96

I would recommend going with component for the front instead of coaxial.

i would recommend staying away from pioneer if at all possible... i have had nothing but trouble from my experience with pioneer and god forbid the unit to break you are looking at 3 months at least to get it back... go alpine....

.

I though the differences between the regular pioneer and their premier counterpart were very minor, basically they're visually different, some have preamp outs with slightly higher wattages (I don't know if that makes sense)

personally i would not buy another pioneer or premier product as long as i live... and yes you do get what you pay for.... that is why next time i will buy either eclipse or alpine.... and as far as the diffenence between pioneer and premiere...hummm still same company, same products...
