Anyone Changed Head Deck, Kept Bose Speakers?

I WANT TO PUT IN A NEW DECK AGAIN. I WANT TO GET PREMIER DEH-P930. THAT ONE IS SO KICK A$$. EVERY STORE TELLS ME DIFFERENT. SOME EXCUSES:

1 NEED AMP BYPASS
2 HIGH TO LOW LEVEL CONVERTERS
3 IMPOSIBLE, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE SPEAKERS TOO

WELL I FIGURE YOU CAN DO A HIGH TO LOW JERRY RIG FOR NOW. IS THAT WHAT YOU GUYS DID? YEAH, I KNOW HIGH TO LOWS SUCK AS$ BUT NOT READY TO BUY SPEAKERS AFTER THAT HUGE INVESTMENT IN THE CD PLAYER. BUT THIS IS WHAT I WAS THINKING, TELL IF I AM WRONG:
THE CD PLAYER DOES ALREADY HAVE HIGH RCA OUTPUT SO I WONT NEED HIGH TO LOW, SO THAT SHOULD HELP WITH THE CRAP QUALITY PART, AND LIKE STRIP AN RCA AND PUT IT AS THE IMPUT ON THE BOSE AMP???

POSSIBLE? OR DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER TRICK?

DAVE

the amp for the main four speakers is integrated into the factory HU. if you remove the head unit, you are removing the amp.

What do you mean? Is there some surprise in those door panels I dont know about. So I cant do it? If the amp is on the back I loose it right. Also i cant use amp with head deck because it does not have bose impedance. ohms are defferent.

ive done it!!

I have an aftermarket head unit and kept the bose speakers for now. wil change when i get more money. its just a lil bit harder cuz they have to re-wire all the speakers and the amp so it might cost u a lil bit more. the amp is under the seat. not sure if its the driver or passengers. i just had mine re-wired today. see my sig, for the head unit i got. total price of installation and rewiring $190
