Another trunk rattle question
I've been trying to get rid of my annoying trunk rattle, I tried unscrewing the rubber trunk stops some more but I can make them stick out as much as they are able to and my trunk still rattles. Has anyone found a good way to make the trunk fit tighter? I don't think dynamat would help since it sounds like it's just the loose trunk rattling. I was thinking of trying to get some rubber stops to fit where the rubber trunk stops hit the car, in the hopes of making it a tighter fit, but I'm not sure how that will work.
did anyone on here fix their trunk rattle? it sounds like my car is falling apart when the subs hit...

honestly i dont think you will be able to completely rid the trunk of rattles.. there are people on here that will disagree with me but i think that the best way quiet the trunk rattle is to rubber coat the trunk hook (one that bolts to the rear of the tunk..).. if you get inside your trunk as i did and turn the bass up you will hear and see that the rattle is orginating at that trunk latch causing all the metal it is attched to to resonate.. go to home depot or your local autoparts stor and get that rubber coating stuff for tools and dip that hool loop in there... i will assure you that it will quiet the rattles alot..
