Amp Cuts Off

Ive had a system in my car for about a year and Ive had zero problems with it untill today...the damn thing keeps cutting off, I wanna say its because of the heat down here in NoVA. Any ideas ?

Might be. Can you drop your back seats to let some air in the trunk? (assuming its in the trunk). try it and see if it still cuts out.

yeah might be overheating, which amp do you have? does it go into some sort of protection mode?

I have a RF 800.2 It was working fine when it cooled down today...So it probably was the heat. Thanks for the help.

rockfords tend to overheat. is your gain too high
