Alpine SPR-17LS .. any comment

anyone have comments on these??
They're 6.5" Type R component set for 2005 model. The tweeter caught my attention bc of it's tune chamber. Similar to last year's alpine's top of the line set .. SPX-F13M/SPX-F17M. run for like 169.99 off of Onlinecarstereo.com.

the Type Rs are awesome speakers. THe SPX F17m and F13m are sold as single sets. So one set is just one tweeter, woofer and crossover.

.. but they dont make those anymore. Tweeter on those are highly acclaimed. and the new type R tweeter's design kinda similar to the spx-f13m/spx-f17m.

the new type R's sound great, friends shop just got them in last week, they sound better than the previous model IMO.

GET THEM along with a new Type R Sub. Those subs look so awesome. Cant wait to test one out.

Check out www.imagedynamicsusa.com for the ID Chameleons. Bad azz comp set for the price. 3 ways is a different story. Just add the mid bass they have, and custom a xover. Ever heard Morel, Seas, Diamond Audio, or Dynaudio 3 ways?
