alpine iva-d900 question??

Can the saftey feature be bypassed on this HU so I can watch DVD's while driving??

At least Alpine makes it more difficult than the other manufactures.

BIG YES!! You can get the PAC TR-7 bypass made for the IVA's or your local stereo shop should know how to bypass it.

Or if you don't want to use the TR7, you can do it with a single switch and a wire hooked to your footbrake - the brake when you first get in the car, flip the switch on/off/on, and you're set

The TR7 just does what I said above automatically, so it's definitely easier
