Alpine 9853 headunit
Do anyone have a alpine 9853 glide touch headunit? I just bought it two months ago for 460.00 including installation from best buy, and two months later the damn thing can't eject a cd. It just says "open" and nothing happens. It can't even tilt down...... Anyone had this problem? I notice in all the best buys I go to does it..... The same headunit on display does the same thing. They won't let me return it and get a new one because I didn't buy the 2 year warranty. So now I have to send it back to alpine to get it fix. Do anyone have any instructions on how to take out the headunit off of a 99 TL??? Thanks.

Did they give you the removal keys, with those u can just slide the radio out.

from what i heard the first batch did have that problem, and were supposed to be all recalled. Definately call Alpine and let them know

Got da Internet Goin Nutz
Buy a new one from best buy. Take the old one out of your car. Return the old one to Best Buy with the receipt for the new one and get your money back.
