for all bose stock units: subz
did anyone notice when they turn up the music the sub in the back makes a lot rattling noises?
i looked over the set up in the trunk and its pretty cramped in there, i dont have any pics to show but ill try to explain.
there should should be two horizontal thin rods running across, from the left end of the trunk to the other side. if you look directly in the center of those rods you should see, a wide v shaped metal hookin into the rods that right there will help 50% of the rattling sound. just turn up your music and pull on that v shaped metal piece youll start to hear alot that rattling sound go away, i did something wid the ghettoness and threw a normal towel in there and let the ends of the towel wrap around the rods and it helped stop rattling maybe something better could be thought up (dynomat ), but for now i was like ehh why not. then the 30% of the rattling is from the grill of the speaker now that i have no idea wid,(trust me dealers wont do nething about it) but push it down and you ll hear almost no rattling, the other 20% is barely noticeable and its mainly from all the lil connections from inside the trunk holding wires and the base of the what the speaker is held by.
anyone did nething like this?????

dude.. I didn't get any rattles from my sub and I had it all the way up. I was kinda admiring it for its clean sound albeit weak.. but it was clean. oh yea.. bass knob was twisted all the way up too.
