Alarms Aladdin 2000 VS. Clifford Matrix RS 3.5

Which would you guys pick?
i know the aladdin system has more features, and know few people who had it on their audi, back when i used to drive an audi too. i know a guy who sells and installs them. can get a good price installed.
the clifford matrix rs3.5 is supposely the best system out there. dont really know about it, but two of my friends just got it and they like it. the rs is pretty expensive, the system it self is $150 more then the aladdin.
just want some input before i get it done.
aladdin 2000:

and the clifford matrix RS 3.5

as of now, im leaning toward the aladdin system because i been exposed to it more.

Couple of things about alarms:

1) As Consumer Reports has accurately reported, 80% of the effectiveness of an alarm is the installation. From a security point of view, the difference between these two alarms is far, far less than the difference between a secure installation and a typical installation.

A Viper 300 with the right accessories and the right installation is harder to get past, disable, or even ignore, than either of these two.

2) Clifford isn't really Clifford any more - they were bought by Directed (Viper's parent company) a few years ago. They are now more like Honda and Acura - lotta parts sharing as the same designers.

3) That said, Directed is the most successful alarm company in the world, and their Taiwanese manufacturer of boards is the most reliable and highest-quality supplier I have ever dealt with over there. The Clifford is not a "Clifford" any more, but the last few years Clifford had cash flow problems, and didn't test things like they used to, and were pretty "glitchy" - my pre-merger Clifford has a few glitches in it. Things should be better now. I presonally would go with the Clifford.

4) As far as designing a secure security system, I will post an article I wrote for Car Audio a few years ago...
