Alarm help

I've had my Viper 791xvr w/ the 556u bypass for about a year now with no problems. Now all of a sudden when I got to start the my car a 1999 3.2TL, it will beep to confirm the car started and about 5-10 seconds it'll beep again letting me know it shut off. Now what's strange is when the car is warmed up for example if I drive it around for a while and then do the remote start after that it'll stay on and work fine. The other day I was trying to put it into valet mode and I was hitting all the buttons on my remote trying to get it to go into that mode and this was around the time that I noticed this problem...
Any suggestions?

It sounds like the tach wire is working differently in cold weather - a not unheard-of issue.

Perhaps you re-programmed the tach accidentally? I think you should re-program the tach reading as per the manual.

i've had issues with those 791xv's.. doing odd things, losing programming and so on. Faulty brains and faulty remotes. Hope you bought it and got it installed at an authorized dealer!
