Aftermarkte Radio Dash kit for TSX (PETITION)
I posted a while ago about the metra dash kit called the metra turbo 2 that they make for the Honda Accord. Here is the original post https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21630 Now I emailed Metra to see if they were going to also be making one for the Acura TSX. Here is the responses that I have received from them.

We are not planning to make a kit for that car at this time. If we do a kit for it, it would probable be some time next year at the earliest.

My Response
Mike,
I am just wondering what your reasons for deciding not to make a kit for the Acura TSX at this time is. I know from various forums that I am a member of there is a high interest in a kit from you guys. I have posted the info about the one for the Honda Accord on the forums and a there was a lot of interest on whether or not a kit for the tsx would be made. I know for a fact that the connectors are the same for the cars. The only thing that would need to be designed is a face plate and air ducts for the air.
Thanks,
Jason

yes there is a lot of interest among TSX owners, but there are fewer TSX owners than there are Accord owners or owners of other cars. That will be an expensive kit to design and tool for. So far that has not been enough interest to justify the cost to make a kit.

My idea is to get enought people that would be interested in having one and see if there is enough interest if we can get them to decide to make one now.

Well, a 'bump' isn't going to do much for this cause. There will be no metra kits for the TSX. Just go with the standard top-pocket approach or a custom fiberglass.
