Aftermarket reciever kit?

Does anyone know if there are any kits available to install an aftermarket reciever into the TSX dash? Looks like it would be difficult to do in a clean looking way. But i'm just curious.

Re: Aftermarket reciever kit?

Check out the second page of this pdf. There seems to be a kit.

http://instantox.com/tsx/pdf/XM_RADIO_SYSTEM.PDF

And this dealer advertises the kit (no price, though).

Here is a pic. just imagine your unit where the MP3 player is.

not likely. i was just curious really more than anything. the sound quality in my car is pretty much perfect and i can't really justify having to spend extra dough on a new head unit. my next mod will most likely be some koni shocks.

here's a link to the attachment kit. Not that bad for it to look nice. I'm thinking about putting in a aftermarket MP3 player. Something that would scroll the text and would be a lot cheaper than the acura one. This will be my summer project.

Just curious if anyone has added an aftermarket mp3 player to their TSX (not an ipod, just a standard car stereo type). I would be interested to learn more about how you went about the process.

Thanks.
