Aftermarket navigation system

Hey guys,

I looking at getting a 6-speed TSX but I wanted to change the stock radio unit out and put in a pioneer AVIC-Z2 nav system. Do you know if it's possible to do this? Also what do you guys think of the stock navigation system that comes from Acura?

Thanks in advance

Its not possible to remove the oem unit per-se. There is no easy solution to installing a 2-DIN unit into a TSX. The best (easiest, with full functionality and good quality) way to do so is a custom install below the radio (after taking out the 2 storage pockets) and putting its output into the stock unit.

For the cost of the Z2, why not just get the OEM navi? Feature-for-feature, they are very similar.

The factory nav in Honda/Acura vehicles is Alpine. Alpine has always been the leader in navigation for both OEM and aftermarket. Better updates, better service and better accuracy (Acura-See).
