After-market alarm, and stock "security blinkers"

I was thinkin about adding an aftermarket alarm with a remote start. If i do this, would the "security" light in the door, and also on the deck continue to blink red? thanks

I had a Viper 550 & the light on the radio still lit up, but I think that's different then the light by the door. That did not work.

If installed properly the light will blink because the stock and aftermarket alarms work in tandem.

Yup. The LED on the stock HU has nothing to do with the alarm system.
