Adding some more sound...without $$$

Wassup boyz...

money is somewhat of an issue right now, so I'm looking for my next mod not to require $$$. I removed my airbox resonator on Saturday, and the sound is quite nice when in range of VTEC...

however, is there a way to remove my exhaust resonator? I'm not even sure if an exhaust resonator even exists, but I have heard this term in the past. It makes sense that there would be one, since the exhaust does eliminate quite a bit of engine noise.

Anyone who knows whether this can and has been done, please let me know.

thanks

Yes you can remove the exhaust resonator, it's not free tho, you need to take it to a muffler places and have them remove the resonator and put in a straight pipe. There are two a coke size one and a bigger one, I suggest removing the bigger one.

i agree with him! i to have my resonators removed. with the factory exhaust the tone gets a little deaper and nicer sounding. i had a muffler shop remove mine (the first time, i did it my self the 2nd) for around 30 bucks (that included welding a pipe in its place)
