Add auxilary to stock HU??

Is it possible to get an adapter to fit the back of our stock BOSE head unit other than those Ridiculously priced ipod adapter kits?
Is it possible to unplug the 6 cd changer from trunk and wire an auxiliary cable or adapter through there?
If so..What parts/adapters will be needed (made or bought)??

Please check the first post of the DIY/FAQ/Info thread in this section of the forums, specifically the Auxillary input thread. Read some of the info from the manufacturers then let us know what questions you might have.
Auxiliary adapters plug into the empty auxiliary slot on the back of your factory radio.

If you look they aren't all $150 kits. If you look at all of them they can range from $75 and up. Which means if you hit eBay you can find some decent deals.
If your original question was supposed to be can you make your own adapter then look at the 3G TL section for an idea on how to or try google if you have the know how. There is not a DIY on making the adapter for your specific car.
