Acura TSX - Bus harness pinout - CD/MP3 Changer - M-Bus/Ai-NET interface

Anybody knows the pinout of the bus harness - CD/XM radio connector - on the recent Honda/Acura models using bus adapters (08A31-0E1-010 or 08A31-0F1-000)?

This is all the information I could collect so far based on images provided in different forums and my own cable (P/N 08A31-0F1-000)

My target is to be able to connect any device using M-Bus/Ai-NET protocols (Alpine CD/MP3 changers or may be even iPod?) to the factory HU.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

What car do you have?

And what degree of confidence do you have that this input uses MBus?

If there is an OEM CD changer option (Alpine branded) it should be just simple interface matter of building an adapter to fit any M-bus aware device.

I just figured out that #6 and #14 are the XM Left channel. Don't know yet but I bet that #5 and #13 are the XM Right channel. Will let everyone know when I find out for sure.

6= L+
14=L-
5=R+
13=R-
4=shield for both.

FYI---When I totally disconnect this plug and then turn the stereo on here's what happens.

I loose all touch screen functions, XM (you can't even select it), All of the buttons above the stereo and below the screen are inoperable. Also, my XM presets are gone when I plug it back in.

I have a feeling this plug holds the remote turn on for the xm, the constant pwr for xm, ground for xm, and a few others that I haven't figured out yet.

But non the less I now have XM and auxillary inputs.

Has anyone figured out how the HU "knows" there's an external source attached? The system won't let you switch to AUX with nothing connected....
