I just purchased a 02 TL S navi w/a bose system that includes a bose sub. The system sounds horrible... it appears that the front & rear drivers produce as much BASS as the stock subwoofer which makes the mids & highs very distorted.

Has anyone tried installing crossovers perhaps at 150mhz in the front drivers in attempts to improved the clarity of the system or done anything different with the stock system... btw i'm not interested in any thing aftermarket. Just want to make what I have better.

For a luxury car I expected a lot more... i surpose it just a honda.
