i have a single JL 15 W0 that i just hooked up recentally and the covers that go over the 6x9's rattle like crazy. i was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and what you did to solve this. thanks

 

Sure it's the covers? Are the stock Blose 6x9s still in there? I found that the plastic spacer on top of the speaker basket buzzes against the speaker basket and the speaker basket buzzing against the edge of the hole, making it sound like the speakers are rubbing or blown. I fixed it by adding some rope caulk (putty) around the speakers.
Because the rear deck is so flimsy, it gets excited by anything, causing lots of rattles and buzzing. Stick your head in the trunk and knock on the rear deck from underneath until you hear the rattle, and then go after it with some foam stuffed up in it. I found the center brake light housing to be the main source of rattles....
