5 channel amps.. what's good?

Can someone recommend a good 5 channel amp? I have seen ones from PHOENIX GOLD, Soundstream, Hi-fonics, Sony, MTX, Kicker, & Rockfordfosgate. Prices rang from $200-$500

Don't need a ton of power, I need to take up little space. It will run a sub & 4 speakers. This is not for the CLS.

well for that price range, you arent going to get the cream of the crop so just find one that looks decent and has the power youre looking for.

Those are the street prices I have seen. Most of the amps from that list are $399-$600.

I think I would choose Soundstream over all the others in that list.

I agree. I had a couple of soundstream amps powering my last system, and they are awesome, especially for the money.

Here is a pretty good deal right now on ebay...

Helix Precision HXA-500Q. Made by Brax. The unit is bulletproof, pumps out way more than it's rated, and looks damn good.

It should run you in the $500 range.

The JL is expensive, & I can get amps that put out more power & have better S/N ratio. I also want something that will blend in with the tan interior of my truck.
