Radio/CD player do not work at all. When turned on it simply says "ERRL" on the screen. Pushing any buttons doesn't seem to work.

I bought the car yesterday and the dealership is paying for this to be repaired, but they're saying Acura has to take the radio out and ship it somewhere and it could take up to ten days. If it's fixable without taking it there, I'd like to circumvent the waiting game.

I did a little research online and apparently you cannot enter the theft code in the 2003 TL-S's unless the antenna cable has been disconnected. Anyone know if this is accurate information? Is it difficult?

Anything else to check?

It's EER(x), x = n+1 every time a code is entered, not ERR1, my mistake.

I have the code from the factory, it's not working. Do I need to disconnect the antenna?

Let them send it out to be fixed.. There's nothing you can do.
