I have an OEM radio/cd player for a 2002 CL that I would like to use on my 2002 TL. The front and actual size are identical to my TL which has two connectors in the back, a square and rectangular type. The CL unit has only the rectangular connector. Will this work? What is the square connector on the TL for?

If the connector fits, it will work. They are very standard Honda style connectors. BUT you have to make sure you have a Bose system in both! The CL radio is line level, not amplified levels. So there has to be a matching Bose amp in the TL. So all you have to do is plug the (blue) connector to the back of the radio.

You mention that the CL radio has one connector. Normally, the "square" connector is the changer port. Strange, since I though all '01-03 CL radios have 2 (non-nav) or 3 (NAV) connectors. Also, somebody once sold their TL radio here, and said that it's incompatible with the CL. But his pics showed he was selling a NAV radio.

Thanks. I plugged the replacement radio in and entered the anti-theft code. All appeared to be OK but the volume is weak (unamplified?). Both the radio and CD player work but apparently the square connector is for amplifiers. Don't imagine there is anything I can do about this? I'll probably reinstall the original TL radio and do without the cd player
