Hi i recently bought a 2002 acura tl radio to put in my 2001 TL. I got the code for the radio everything works and it turns on, but no sound is coming through the speakers. It was working for like 5 min then it stopped working. I want to know what is causing this problem. I checked the fuses and they are not blown or anything. Can anybody help me?

Could be a bad radio. But first thing i would check is the factory amp located behind the rear seats to the right.

those radios suck. i finally spent the 180 putting a new deck in my car and it sounds awesome the stock speakers and sub is good enough for me. only problem is i was messing around with the output on my pioneer deck and think i blew my stock amp or sub... if anyone knows about a fuse, relay, or if i should just replace the sub? any input would be great thanks! but ya dude dont waste your money on the shitty stock radio the 2 din dash kit looks good in car...

I have a stock sub and amp i bought on ebay that was certified tested and working that i'm willing to sell, never even installed it but did hook it up and they do work. I just ended up going with and aftermarket 12 which is PLENTY for this car, that amp behind the rear seat in my 03 TL-S anyway is only for the sub, not for the door speakers if i'm reading the wire diagrams right. But as mentioned above, spend the dough on an aftermarket unit, even a low end ( not china stuff or no name) is better than the factory BS they try and pass as a radio.
