2000 TL Factory Stereo Removal
Hi guys,
I have a 2000 TL with 108k that I've owned for 3 years. Not too long ago, my 6 cd changer has been acting up, until eventually now it does not even turn on or let me eject cds. Also when I press the CD option in my actual radio, nothing happens. I've tried disconnecting the battery and also the radio fuse but nothing happens. I have an amazon gift card and I think its about time I want to get my a nice new radio that has an aux input and plays mp3 cds with no problems, nothing too fancy. My question is do i need to buy any specific cables or look for a specific type of radio? Is the installation process hard? Anything else I should know before doing this? Thanks

Burning Brakes
you can pretty much put anything in the tl now they have dash kits made by scosche and metra for either double or single din. they also have the wiring harness you will need so you dont have to cut the stock harness. may want to search this subject for more info i am sure i am missing something..
