2 10 inch kickers installed, problem?
ok, so im trying to install these damm things and the hardest part is trying to wire the things to get a signal. I followed everyones instructions by trying to use the 2 wires in the brown wire. Well didnt work, through my hands up and when and bought a line output converter. Installed that off the speaker wires going to subs. Works great, but I'm not getting the huge bass i had like in my last car using a aftermarket head unit. I'm guessing that its the LOC thats not giving me a great signal like my other head unit (RCA's). I dont know, I never had this problem before i used LOC's. Whats some opinions?

I used to have Kicker Competitions.
Did you say you are connecting them straight off from the head unit? If so, I doubt you can get any power off of it.
If the H.U. is 50 watts by whatever channel, realize that it is not a true 50 watts. You need an amplifier to run those subs.
Another important thing you need is the correct enclosure for your subs.
Good luck.

I went out to Radio Shack and bought a cheap $20 multimeter to test the wires...
I was then able to see that one of my taps on the signal wires wasn't really tapped and that it's a mono line.
IMHO, it was much easier and sounds much better to tap the 2 wires inside the brown casing.
I'd rip that LOC out and just run it off the signal wires. Took me 3 days to do it, but now it took me 30 mins to help a friend do his.
