1999 TL and 2001 CL Type-S Wiring Diagram Schematics needed......Can anyone Help?
Im in need of the full wiring diagram, air bag (srs), abs, schematics can anyone hook me up with it? Im currently having problems with the srs but Im sure Ill run into a few other issues so thats why Im looking for as much of the wiring diagram as possible.
Im currently doing a Type-S conversion on my 99 and got the wiring, engine, ecu, etc from a 01 CL Type-S. Currently having issues with the srs wiring. Im wondering if I should repin it to work with the stock srs module or if Im going to have to use the 01 CL module but how will that work as I dont have side air bags so will that cause an issue? Im using a TL Type-S gauge cluster so will the light come on because of that?
Also I cant seem to find the wiring harness that goes from the ecu to the engine compartment so can I use my stock harness? So will also need to read the difference between those as well.
Any help will be great!
Thanks,
Johnny

Hey Johnny,
Just as a standard rule in a dealership, SRS wires are never to be repaired or repinned. Infact, the connectors don't usually allow the pins to be unlocked. If you are swapping over components, you will need to re-learn the OPDS unit to the new SRS Unit, this will light your SRS indicator. That can be done using a jumper wire and some spare time. A dealer will normally charge you an hour of labor to pull the code and re-learn the OPDS unit. However, because you are "missing" side air bags, you will have multiple code for inflator and sensors. So I think the only way you can solve it is by not having SRS at all. I can check the ETMs at work and maybe find you a solution.
